Description

  • Full-time, on-site position based in SOUTHAMPTON, UK
  • Support, guide, and advise Maritime Compliance Assistants
  • Deputise for Maritime Compliance Officers when required
  • Support the Maritime Compliance manager with special projects
  • Liaison with clients and crew at all levels
  • Crew and vessel Certification monitoring
  • Communication with Class and Flag for the application of certificates and other statutory documents
  • Ensure that department and yacht records are maintained and up to date through the in-house electronic Safety Management System.
  • Assist with the onboard safety management of vessels being supported
  • Support the crew and MCO’s to help ensure that the yachts comply with national, international and Company requirements
  • Review and recert to vessels within the eSMS and company hub
  • Issue Security Threat Report Messages, Flag State Shipping Notices and other Fleet Messages as requested by the Designated Person Ashore
  • Main the up-to-date index of Fleet Messages issued
  • ESSENTIAL: EXPERIENCE WITH THE APPLICATION OF ISM CODES

Description

  • Provide financial administrative support to the Yacht Captain and Owner. 
  • Interact and report to third party representative, (i.e. Captain, Owner’s Rep, Owner.
  • To reflect and maintain a professional company image whether in-person, through telephone interaction or when attending industry related functions.
  • General clerical, bookkeeping and accounting
  • Project-based work such as refit and charter accounting.
  • Initiate and supervise the setup of Bank Accounts and Credit Cards for new vessels and Captains.
  • Liaise with the Yacht Technical Manager daily to review vessel and crew issues.
  • Convey systems and financial procedures to new Captains.
  • Prepare Quarterly Financial Reports providing commentary for Owner’s review.
  • Provide Month End Audits of the vessel’s Cash and Credit Card Accounts.
  • Maintain Crew Documentation, including knowledge of Yacht Ratings and US and foreign Visa issues. Management of crew-related issues
  • Payroll Administration, including knowledge of tax and foreign withholding regulations.
  • Calculate and pay Payroll Liabilities using EFTPS software.

  • With responsibility for your own portfolio of yachts, but supported by an experienced team of maritime specialists, you will coordinate between the various management functions to ensure that service deliverables for your yachts are consistently exceeded.
